Suspensive Condition of Credit Information Offices in Cameroon

The BEAC may make the validity of an approved transaction subject to the fulfilment of one or more conditions, known as suspensive conditions.

To demonstrate compliance with the suspensive conditions, the applicant must submit the required documents to the BEAC before the expiry of the deadline stipulated in the approval decision.

However, the applicant may request, in writing, an extension of the deadline for fulfilling the suspensive conditions no later than one (1) month before the expiry of the deadline stipulated in the approval decision.

The BEAC verifies the actual fulfilment of the requirements listed as suspensive conditions. If the documents are satisfactory, the BEAC will inform the applicant, by any means that provides a written record, of the lifting of the suspensive conditions.

If the suspensive conditions are not met and no request for an extension is made, the approval decision becomes null and void. The developer or their authorized representative is informed of this in writing.
